Welcome to Esthetic Cakes Cakery. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. Orders

• All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
• Orders are confirmed only after full payment has been received.
• It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all order details, including spelling, dates, flavours, colours, and design requests, are correct before checkout.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if necessary.

2. Payments

• Full payment is required to confirm all standard orders unless otherwise agreed.
• Large event orders may require a non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due before collection or delivery.

3. Custom Cake Designs

• Every cake is handcrafted, making each one unique.
• While we make every effort to match inspiration images or requested designs, slight variations in colour, decoration, and finishing may occur.
• By providing inspiration photos, you acknowledge that the final product is an original interpretation and not an exact replica.

4. Allergies and Dietary Requirements

Our products may contain or come into contact with:

• Wheat (Gluten)
• Eggs
• Milk
• Soy
• Tree Nuts
• Peanuts

Customers must inform us of any allergies before placing an order. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

5. Collection and Delivery

• Customers are responsible for collecting orders at the agreed collection time.
• Delivery is available to selected areas and is subject to an additional delivery fee.
• Once an order has been collected or delivered, responsibility for the cake transfers to the customer.
• We are not responsible for damage caused by improper transportation, storage, or handling after collection or delivery.

6. Storage

For best quality:

• Keep cakes refrigerated unless otherwise advised.
• Bring refrigerated cakes to room temperature 1–2 hours before serving.
• Consume products within the recommended timeframe.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

• Orders cancelled more than 7 days before the collection or delivery date may be eligible for a partial refund, excluding any deposit.
• Orders cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled date are generally non-refundable due to preparation and ingredient costs.
• Refunds will not be issued for design preferences where the cake matches the agreed specifications.
• If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of collection or delivery, including photographs where applicable.

8. Changes to Orders

Changes to flavours, designs, sizes, or collection dates are subject to availability and may not be possible within 72 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery date.

9. Product Photography

We reserve the right to photograph completed cakes and products for marketing, social media, and portfolio purposes unless otherwise requested by the customer before collection.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, logos, photographs, designs, and branding are the property of Esthetic Cakes Cakery and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Esthetic Cakes Cakery shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products.

12. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for delays or failure to fulfil orders due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, supplier shortages, or other unforeseen events.

13. Privacy

Any personal information collected during the ordering process is used solely for processing orders, customer communication, and improving our services. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable South African privacy laws.
